About Me
My name is Jennifer Berkemeier, and I live in the Southeast part of Michigan. Like many people who live in this state, my family has a small cabin up north where we have been vacationing ever since I can remember. It is from spending time on the sand dunes, wading in the clear rivers and hiking through the woods that my passion for all things nature has developed. My desire to be able to recreate the beauty around me led me to pick up a camera and begin experimenting. I took a basic photography class, and thanks to the support from my amazing photo coach, have been given the inspiration and tools to bring corners of nature to digital media, prints and framed artwork.
